Dexsport Expands Into Prediction Markets as the Category Scales in 2026

Dexsport has expanded its Web3 iGaming platform with dedicated Prediction Markets section, establishing a third major product vertical alongside its sportsbook and casino. The product is already live with thousands of markets covering real-world events across sports, crypto, politics, economics and other categories.

The range goes well beyond conventional sports or financial questions. In August, one such market drew media attention after rumors around Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez’s wedding sparked speculation over whether longtime UFC rivals Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor would get into a physical confrontation if both attended.

The selection now spans sports, crypto, politics, economics, esports, entertainment and other real-world events. Markets range from Bitcoin price targets and major elections to championship winners and questions around releases such as GTA 6.

Some of the largest markets currently displayed on Dexsport show how far that scope extends. The market for the 2028 Republican presidential nominee shows more than $60 million in trading volume, while the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship shows more than $13 million.

The core mechanic differs from a fixed sportsbook line. Dexsport’s prediction markets use tradable outcome shares, typically structured around “Yes” and “No” positions, with the price reflecting the market’s implied probability of an outcome. Users can buy a position, sell it as expectations change or hold it until the market is resolved.

Each market also comes with defined resolution criteria specifying what must happen for an outcome to be considered correct. That structure allows questions ranging from elections and crypto prices to sports and pop culture events to be expressed through the same market format.

Prediction Markets sit within the same no-KYC Web3 environment as Dexsport’s sportsbook and casino. Across the wider platform, Dexsport supports more than 85 cryptocurrencies across 25+ blockchain networks.

“Prediction markets give users a different way to engage with the events they already follow – through prices that move as expectations change,” said Ivan Muller, CEO of Dexsport. “For Dexsport, bringing that format into the platform was a natural extension. It gives us a third major product direction alongside sportsbook and casino while keeping the experience within the same Web3 ecosystem.”

Earlier this year, Dexsport became the headline sponsor and official betting sponsor of OG Esports’ Counter-Strike 2 roster, which now competes as OG.Dexsport. In June, Dexsport’s native DESU token made its centralized exchange debut on MEXC alongside a $40,000 community campaign. The platform also marked the 2026 FIFA World Cup with more than $110,000 in freebet rewards across dedicated betting and prediction campaigns.

The expansion comes as activity across the prediction market sector remains far above last year’s levels. Combined monthly trading volume across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US reached $45.33 billion in August, following a record $50.59 billion in July. Bernstein has projected prediction-market trading volume of around $240 billion for the full year, compared with roughly $51 billion in 2025, before potentially reaching $1 trillion annually by 2030.

With prediction markets becoming a larger part of the Web3 conversation, members of the Dexsport team will also attend TOKEN2049 Singapore on October 7-8.
